S63 Chart

The S63 Module includes display of official ENC charts under S63 format.

S-63 charts are encrypted charts in the S-57 file format that respect all the standards set by the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO). “S-63” Refers to the encryption standard under which the charts are protected.

Advantages of S-63 charts:

S-63 charts are encrypted, this ensures that all the information is 100% correct and approved by the International Marine Organization.
S-63 charts can only be read by its licensed owners. Thus, the encryption prevents them from being pirated.
The encryption guarantees that that they have not been tampered with and that the information is completely accurate.
S-63 charts support Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) and by meeting all the required standards, guarantees maximum security onboard.
